Terrible dental practice, I came for root canal and crown which took 5 months to complete due to cancelled appointments, re-infection and having to come back to get the mould redone as the dentist didn't do it properly the first time round (in his words because he didn't have his loupes). Quick to set up a payment plan, grand total of £1400 but also quick to cancel appointments at the last minute. My son, age 10 also goes to this practice. Not having a great experience with him either, dentist is rude and has very poor bedside manners. He would not refer my som for a brace even though he has severe crowding - i have now moved dentist, after 1st appointment have been put on the waiting list for a brace! Also on my last visit while sat in the waiting area i listened to 1 of the young ladies ridiculing one of her previous patients to the receptionist and another member of staff because he wasn’t happy with his crown and that if he wanted it to look better he should have paid for an implant. There are signs up about privacy and respect yet the staff clearly showed neither. Edit - to add insult to injury now being called a liar, the root canal and crown was absolutely done at this clinic. The dentist who treated me is no longer on your website so maybe has left but his room was the second one on the left as you go through the door, unfortunately i cant remember his name but i do remember he only took appointments in the mornings as this was not ideal with me working full time. He stated he didn't have his loupes, hence my comment. The crown is poor quality, cracked within weeks of being put in and has cracked further now but i am unable to fund getting it fixed. I have a crown fitted at a different practice over 20 years ago and it is still like new.

Treatments available on the NHS are acceptable but modern dental solutions are not covered and have to be paid for. If paying the option you choose, you hope and expect that the work will be carried out correctly, safely and that the result will make you smile. In my experience mydentist Moor Road (and Wigan branch) do just that. The treatments that my wife and l have had have proved to be very successful and worth every penny.

I had an excellent experience with my dentist (Kate) who fitted me for clear aligners. She was professional, thorough, and made the entire process seamless. From the initial consultation to the custom fitting, she took the time to explain each step and ensured my aligners were perfectly tailored for my teeth. Her expertise and friendly demeanour made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the treatment. I highly recommend this Kate and MyDentist (Orrell) to anyone considering clear aligners!

I had Clear Correct with Kate on both my top and bottom teeth. From first meeting Kate to going to my regular appointments, I felt at complete ease and confident of the treatment plan and everything involved. I’ve been a patient at this practice now for a few years now, I was a very nervous patient but Kate (my dentist) is brilliant and very reassuring and her then assistant Pat who was also lovely, Kate now has Nadia as her assistant and again both are very welcoming and pleasant and put you at ease. I can say I’m no longer anxious when I go to the dentist as Kate has always taken her time to make me feel comfortable and explain in full any treatment she would be doing. Overall the practice and all staff are lovely, Karen on reception is always welcoming and although very busy is always happy to have a quick chat if she has time, I would recommend this Dental Practice to anyone, plus it’s all on one level and I have mobility issues so it’s good, if I had to give any criticism at all, parking is non existent and the practice is on a busy junction, but the pub across the road (The Stag) has a pay and display car park which people are allowed to use so it’s good, however that isn’t an issue as I have a brilliant dentist and that’s worth it for me.

Kate at mydentist takes time to carefully consider the best course of treatment and puts us all (including my young boys 5 and under) at ease. Really appreciate her recent advice around Clear Correct to make sure my treatment covers what I need. Highly recommend
