Amazing!!! Did have to wait on the phone to get an appointment but the receptionist booking the appointment was so lovely. I was very nervous and made the staff aware of this, Janice and Heather were amazing, so kind and understanding, if these ladies were my dentist then I’d have no problem going regularly….thank you so much!

Most pleasant dental extraction ever! The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. And the 2 ladies in the surgery were just as lovely. They all made me feel welcome and at ease. An absolute credit to the NHS. I waited 1 hour on the phone to get an appointment and half an hour in the waiting room, but I don't mind because I'm pain free now thanks to these lovely ladies and their service. If only more people were this nice.😁

Took two hours on the phone however as soon as I was through things moved very fast, I was in an emergency dental centre same day and sorted same day. The phone operator was very helpful and sympathetic, thank you to all involved

This NHS dental practice is such a life saver. It took a while on the phone to get through but just 1 phone call sorted all my problems. I’m going from a single abscess to having 7 teeth removed through sedation. I have a massive fear of dentists 10/10. But the staff are so fantastic and polite they are making my treatment process very easy. I wouldn’t let a dentist touch my teeth and now they’re going to sedate me and remove all the teeth that need to be removed. I wouldn’t be able to thank the staff anymore than I can now. From crying in pain and fear to now be put at ease is a real challenge but the staff here have made it happen. Really it’s the staff and service that are top of the scale. Honestly if you need help you will get it. Just wait through the long phone call and believe in success. Massive thanks to every member of staff that has helped me.

We were referred to this number as we weren't registered with any dentist in town and it was an emergency. The actual experience was pretty straight forward and the staff and doctors were really polite and competent. However, I'm dropping a star due to the horrendously long call waiting time. Took us almost 55 mins to get connected and we had started from being 7th in line.

Yes! They're busy, yes its a bit of a job to get through on the phone. BUT the service is 2nd to none. The staff here are doing the best they can given the high demand for NHS dentists. I suffer with anxiety especially when it comes to visiting the dentist. The women made me feel so comfortable and at ease. By far the least terrifying visit I've had to the dentist!

I came to Tunstall Dental Access a few months ago for a scale and polish. The Hygienist Paula Copeland I use to see at Ryecroft Dental Department was pleased to see as she hasn't seen me since 2008 because a new dentist opened in Biddulph where I live and I left the Ryecroft for them. Then the destist kept cancelling my appointments so I decided to go back to Ryecroft and they were please to have me back. Paula said she'll see me every 6 months for a scale and polish and go to Ryecroft once a year to see Richard Beck for a check up. I give Tunstall Dental Access 5 Stars *****

I was on the phone needing to speak to someone about a tooth abscess. I was on hold for an hour and when the person on the other end answered, they didn't say hello. All I heard was the phone rumbling and then they hung up... Honestly it's shocking. I work in healthcare myself and that type of service just is not acceptable. I ended up going private and it cost a fortune but if I wasn't in a position to do so i was potentially dealing with a life treating illness and someone does not seem to know how to use a phone to triage me. No wonder A&E is full and wards are full because community services like this are letting the hospitals down. Not good enough.
