Bupa Dental Care Northampton

I have been referred by 111 on an emergency appointment to this practice on Easter Monday. Initially when I called they were fully booked and then they called me back to offer an appointment later that afternoon which was a godsend as I was in agony. Excellent facilities with parking, waiting room and accessible toilet on the ground floor, absolutely brilliant staff, the receptionist was very polite and both the dentist as well as her assistant were brilliant. It was refreshing to see that extraction isn't the only option in this practice, they listen to what the patient wants and they will really try to save that tooth. It is such a shame that they do not accept any NHS patients...

Outstanding service for my tooth extraction. The admin staff for arranging the appointment are lovely & very helpful (spoke with Lydia, Lyndsey & Sara during the process.) My dental consultant Robit & the nurse Lydia were both wonderful. Very friendly & reassuring. They explained everything very clearly & were gentle & considerate throughout the process. I came in today as a referral, I was quite nervous and they made me feel at ease. Very quick and easy to remove my tooth, the care from the dentist and everyone is 100%. Highly recommended

I was referred from my usual dentist due to a potentially complex extraction and a complicating medical condition. I was terrified to the point of dizziness beforehand. Then I stepped through the door any everything changed. The receptionist was calming with "It's what we do. We're the experts in this and you'll be fine". The dentist and dental assistant (?) were kind, calm and professional. They had clearly read my history BEFORE I arrived in the room so they knew what to expect. What a win! This meant they could engage me in meaningful but unrelated conversation while I was prepared for the procedure, putting my mind to something else. The procedure itself, performed by Manu, was actually over before I knew it. Such a huge relief and it was genuinely pain free (plenty of local anaesthetic). Aftercare was thoroughly explained and there was a leaflet provided too as you ALWAYS forget the minute you leave! So, surprisingly, an incredibly good experience at the dentist! I would definitely pay here for treatment in future which is something I wouldn't even have considered before. I have waited a couple of months to write this review as I wanted to see how my healing/recovery went. I've had no issues since and have seen my own dentist who was full of praise regarding the healing. Who could ask for more? People to thank: Manu Philip, Lydia, Sana and Claire. Do not fear - these people know what they are doing and they do it with care, kindness and understanding. Oh - and I couldn't get through on the phone at first so I left a message for someone to call me back. This callback came quickly and, again, was professional and kind.

Dangerous and completely unprofessional. They extracted a healthy tooth for my 13-year-old without properly checking the situation. The tooth wasn’t damaged—it was simply out of place. Now we’re facing years of orthodontic treatment and significant costs to fix this mistake. Avoid this place. It is unsafe and irresponsible.

The best dentists in the County. I was in agony when I came in for an emergency extraction. Struggled to get this stubborn tooth out in the past with other dentists, however Shiv made it look effortless, swiftly getting rid of the immediate pain, providing reassurance and updating on progress throughout the procedure which was pretty swift. Impressive stuff. I’ve now fully registered and will only be using their service moving forward's. Highly recommend.

A* service, amazing dentist. Really is a lovely atmosphere considering you are at the dentist. Everyone so helpful and the treatment is everlasting!

I had to rearrange my (private) dental appointment due to unforeseen illness and also my Child’s unforeseen illness twice. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was so incredibly rude and completely unhelpful. She basically made me feel as if I had been making mine and my Child’s illnesses up, wouldn’t rebook my existing appointment, and instead told me to call on the day I could come and they’d have to ‘see if they had an appointment on that day’. Absolutely disgusting service. I only had to go back in the first place because I had paid an emergency fee and adhesive fee to have a veneer and a crown stuck back in - they BOTH came back out the day after my emergency appointment!! I have been walking around with no veneer on my front tooth since, so to have a receptionist tell me that she’s not going to rebook my (rearranged) appointment and talk to me like I’m dirt and that my reasons for having to rearrange twice are untrue is beyond belief!! I will be taking my business (and money) to another bupa dentist elsewhere.
