Great North Dental Care

Truly amazing dental practice. The staff are all welcoming and accommodating where possible. My bridged tooth had came loose and was sorted in quick time and to perfect. Very skilled staff and would not hesitate to recommend. Extremely satisfied and impressed with the level of care provided.

My husband and I both joined this practice over a year ago and we have had three or four visits. Each time we have been very impressed with the practice itself, as in the foyer etc but particularly the friendliness of all of the people on reception. We have only ever seen David as our dentist but he is exceptionally good. He is friendly, professional, helpful and very good at his job! We have both visited various dentists over the years and this one is by far the best.

I feel very fortunate to have Great North as my new dentist after so many years without one. It's an absolute gem of a practice and a pleasure to visit. And I never thought I'd ever say that about a dentist! Sophie Ross was amazing, so friendly, caring and sensitive to how I felt as a patient, checking I was ok as treatment progressed and taking the necessary action to make things better if not. She completed my treatment ahead of schedule and made sure I had all the info I needed before I left my last appointment. Special mention also for the nurses and in fact anyone I encountered, a great team and a credit to the practice.

The best dentists around - absolutely outstanding. I was into for a Root Canal, I was guided through the whole thing, constantly checked up on to ensure I was comfortable and that I throughly understood everything. Dentist Sophie was absolutely great as was her assistant - (sorry I didn’t get her name), I was reassured through the whole thing, ensured I was okay all the time and understood what work was being done and still had to be completed, she ensured everything was done perfectly and didn’t rush anything. I was talked through all of the details of my treatment plan. I will be recommending this dentist to Family and Friends. I can’t thank you enough, what was a real worry for me has turned out to be a walk in the park - Thank you so much!!

Our dentis is great. Not a fan of the whole dentist thing it gives me terrable axaity when I go but the are ok here. The only thing is they could do with ramps on the way in then it would be fully accessable.

I had my first routine check-up with Dr David Lawler and his dental nurse Sophie last week, they were very professional and took time to explain everything clearly and made me feel at ease. The girls on reception were also very friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience really positive.

I honestly had an amazing first visit to Great North Dental Care today and I say this as someone who gets very anxious when visiting the dentist! All staff were so lovely, kind and reassuring. They ensured that fully understood any treatment and the how and why. I fully trust them and would highly recommend!

This was our first visit as new patients to this practice. Can't praise them enough, all the staff are lovely, Sophie took time to explain everything step by step. Also, the smartness and cleanliness of the reception and treatment room is 10 out of 10
