Upon arrival I was greeted by warm and welcoming staff. Whilst having my procedure (Composite Bonding to chipped teeth) the dentist made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Throughout the process there was friendly banter and I felt reassured. Thank you for bringing back my natural smile again.

I was met with a courteous and friendly staff at the reception, didn’t have wait long for my appointment. Dealt with very professionally by Miss Abigail and after a through examination I was told exactly what was needed to be done and I was given three successive appointments to get the job done. I’m really pleased with the high quality of the service provided.

I am very happy to give Dental Smiles in Chalton Street a 5 star review. I have been using the hygienist service there for several years and have always felt that the care and attention that I have received has been excellent. On my last visit I saw Amanda, who I can say was particularly attentive and reassuring. My teeth were very noticeably cleaner as a result of my visit.

I saw hygienist she didn’t clean my teeth properly and damaged my gums which was bleeding for over a week I called for her to check my gum but they wasn’t willing to take responsibility she said I have gum disease and try to charge me another £80 for checkup. I had to go to my usual dentist as emergency and my dentist confirmed I don’t have gum disease but too much pressure was used on my gum which caused wear and tear I was prescribed antibiotics. I wouldn’t recommend hermits the hygienist to anyone. She’s the worst hygienist I ever come across with.

**Do not trust them at all. Incompetent. Avoid them at all costs** (edited and updated onMonday 18th Aug) There was no NHS capacity available in my town, so I found this practice online and they offered me an appointment. I saw Dr Claudia Wang. Trusted her with my care, which was the biggest mistake of my life. I had 3 fillings. One of the fillings came off 5 days later. I was given an appointment for this to be fixed. I called the practice and I was clearly upset. The receptionist said that if I don't like it there, I should go somewhere else for the future treatments! As if I had NHS options in my city, Cambridge! Eventually, I was given an appointment to get a new filling. The dentist gave me some explanation, which did not convince me, but I had no choice. The new filling was placed. I did mention that one other tooth that I had also talked about before was painful, but she tested if anything was painful after having given me dental anaesthesia, so clearly, nothing was painful! After the filling, I felt that one of the fillings (either an older one from last week or the new one she had done on the day, I couldn't tell which one under anaesthesia) was too high. I was told that this was fine, and I'm not sure why I trusted her again and agreed to wait. Looking in the mirror, the filling is visibly high! I called and booked an appointment to get it fixed. After the appointment, I was asked by the reception if I could consider removing my negative Google review of the practice, which I did not accept. In the morning of my appointment day, the surgery called to ask if I was sure it was necessary! I had a small bike accident the night before, so I had to cancel that appointment. I did mention to them that I might decide to go private to get my teeth checked all over later. They welcomed the idea, and thought I meant I wanted to be seen privately by them! I made it clear that if I wanted to go private, it would be because they have failed me and I will certainly go somewhere more reliable! In the evening of the same day, Friday 15th August, 2 days after the second filling is done, the filling has moved and has blocked the space between that tooth and the one next to it. I did hear something when I was eating last night, but I thought it was me being sensitive. But after I tried to use the dental floss which I always use, it was impossible. Looking in the mirror, it is visible. Today, Monday the 18th August, I called them to speak to the practice manager. They offered to give me an appointment for 26th August with the same useless dentist, which I clearly denied to wait for this long to be seen by the same incompetent person who no one knows what damage she has caused to my teeth so far! Evening of Monday 18th August: the practice manager called, instead of offering to get another dentist to fix the problem they have caused, she said that there was no point in me being seen again by them as I don't trust my dentist. This means that they have dismissed me without properly finishing my treatment. I did mention that I will escalate this and she was more like "do whatever you like" attitude. I did emphasise that they are responsible for every cost I have to endure to fix the mess they have created, and I won't drop this. The practice manager referred to their positive Google reviews, but my experience has been otherwise, and I now suspect a lot of the positive reviews might have been written by their friends or friends of friends. No one takes any responsibility for anything there! Now, I seem to have paid more than saving any money, and God knows what damage they have caused to my teeth. I will have to wait to be seen by a "reliable" dentist somewhere else before I know more. Do not trust this surgery at all. They are unreliable in every sense. It is so funny that a dentist unable to do a proper filling was critical of a root canal a more experienced dentist had done before. Please do not trust them if you don't want to have a never-ending treatment! Unreliable scams! Irresponsible dentist and practice manager!
