Wickham Dental Practice

Following intense toothache following my tooth breaking and exposing the nerve, I contacted the practice to arrange an emergency appointment to have the affected tooth removed. An appointment was arranged for the same day which was a godsend. On arrival the staff were welcoming and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. My appointment was with Johnathon and he was lovely. We discussed what was happening and the options where I felt welcome and my opinions heard. We discussed the pricing so nothing was a surprise at the end of the appointment. The extraction itself went seamlessly and I experienced no pain. I was given information on what to expect and look out for and a little pack with some painkillers and extra gauze in case I needed it. The practice followed up the next day to check on how I was feeling which was a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend the practice to anyone who is looking for a new dentist and wishes to be treated kindly as an individual with respect and have excellent results.

What more can I say, I am just so thankful that Wickham Dental Practice came highly recommended to me at just the right time when, having spent years as an NHS patient and then having had an unfortunate experience at a different private practice, I was at a loss as where to turn to next. However, from my very first in-depth consultation with Dr Audrey Adamson, when I was made to feel completely at ease and so grateful to at last meet a very professional yet kind and empathetic dentist, I felt confident that I would receive the best treatment. I had avoided the Dentist for some years due to previous bad experiences, I was forced to go due to terrible pain and a broken tooth. Wickam Dental have completely turned this around for me, with their high level of understanding, care and incredible painless treatment. From full root canal, fill and new crown by the marvelous Dentist Lizzie, to full clean and Periodontal Treatment by Angelika their fantastic Hygienist. The whole Dental nurse team were superb making sure I was happy and well cared for. Wickham Dental Practice have significantly increased my quality of life and fully eradicated any fear I had going to the Dentist. 6 Stars if this was available! "Fear not the dentist".

My husband and I have been patients of Wickham Dental Practice, for a few years now , we are so fortunate to have found such a special dental practice. We have always been made to feel very much part of the practice, as individuals, and not just as patients. It is a very friendly Practice , and the dental care is exceptional. Our dentist , Lizzie has always shown us great respect during our treatment , we have always been well informed , with written treatment plans and costs. Lizzie is very personable , is gentle and skilful and very knowledgeable, when working in our mouths. My husband had a filling yesterday which he didn’t feel , and now has a beautifully restored tooth. Thank you Lizzie. The treatment is always painless, we don’t even feel the injections, when required. The dental team , including the hygienist, Angelika , ( whose treatment today was excellent and we both feel the benefit of her skills and our mouths feel so much better) The nurses , Emma and Dawn , the receptionists ( Julie today ) are all so professional, caring and supportive and the practice is a happy place to have our dental treatment. I have just moved to this dentist after 27 years with my previous dentist. As a nervous patient I have been welcomed and made to feel very at ease by the lovely team at Wickham Dental Practice. Dr Audrey Adamson is a great dentist and after 2 appointments I already feel very much at ease and confident in the choice to go to this practice. I would highly recommend.

I am in my fifties and had always wanted straighter and whiter teeth. I have a wide smile so was always very conscious of my wonky teeth. After lengthy chats with Dr Judson, I opted for Fast braces which, due to the pandemic, I wore for nearly a year rather than the usual six months. I had a few concerns and doubts throughout the treatment but Dr Judson and her team wre always very supportive and reassuring. Once the braces were off, I used an overnight whitening treatment and I am so happy with my new teeth that my smile is even wider. I would recommend Dr Judson and the team at Wickham for any dental treatment.

I can thoroughly recommend Wickham Dental Practice. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and positive, and I feel my teeth are getting the very best, and most up-to-date treatment. I was an anxious patient when I recently needed to have old and deteriorating amalgam fillings removed and replaced, but I needn't have worried - Dr Lizzie Judson and Dental Nurse Emma Reddin were amazing. They were so reassuring, explaining every step and I felt in very safe hands. I was completely comfortable and pain free throughout, and my new white fillings are a bonus! Thank you!

My experiences at Wickham Dental Practice have been extremely positive. Having moved to the local area I was looking for a new dentist and I'm so glad I came across this practice. The appointment for new patients is very in depth thanks to the diligence and expertise of Dr Adamson and Vicki the dental nurse. It had been quite a while since someone had examined my teeth. They have some very modern equipment which helps to provide a top level of dental care. The team are friendly, empathetic and make you feel comfortable. Claire on the reception is lovely and has even offered me a cup of tea. I have recently had a filing and some crown work done, which I am very happy with. I'm such a happy customer I've even persuaded my wife to join! I hope after reading this, you will do too.
