⭐ 1 Star – 15 Years of Loyalty Meant Absolutely Nothing After 15 years as patients at this practice, we are shocked to be treated like this. We have now cancelled and will be going elsewhere. Over the past few months, they cancelled our appointment three times in a row. Three times. Each time we rearranged our schedules to accommodate them. The appointment we missed was the alternative date given after being messed around repeatedly. After so many changes and cancellations from their side, we got confused about the actual date. It was an honest mistake caused by constant rescheduling. Instead of any understanding, we were immediately charged a £40 missed appointment fee. We were told we had been “made aware” of both the appointment date and the £40 charge beforehand — which is simply not true. We had absolutely no awareness that £40 would be taken until we were told after the fact. £40 in this day and age is a lot of money. Everything is expensive right now. To charge £40 for doing absolutely nothing, especially after cancelling on us three times, feels completely unreasonable. There was no empathy, no discussion, just a charge. The attitude from staff was dismissive and rude. We are genuinely shocked to be treated this way after 15 years of loyalty. It makes you question why we stayed as long as we did. What makes it worse is the double standard. When they run late — which they do — there is no apology and no compensation for patients’ time. But if a patient makes one genuine mistake, they are penalised immediately. Ever since the practice went private, prices have increased and the atmosphere has changed. It no longer feels like a caring practice — it feels transactional. We feel extremely disappointed and let down. After 15 years of giving this place our money, to be treated like this is unacceptable. We will not be returning and will be taking our custom elsewhere. I strongly advise others to think carefully before spending their money here.

Absolutely wonderful care and wonderful Doctor- Amie - Dentist and Ami’s assistant, sorry I don’t remember her name . What I loved the most that Amie’s care was excellent. Amie wasn’t thinking just about Hygiene 🪥 She was caring about my teeth totally ( implants), if gum could be effected from implants. At the time Amie wanted to get hold with my previous dentist. She is excellent 👍 Thank you sooooooo much again for your service and I am looking forward seeing you in a few months again 😁👍

I’ve been to this practice before, but my recent hygienist appointment with Ina Serpetyte was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Ina is incredibly thorough, gentle, and clearly skilled at what she does. My teeth have never felt cleaner. The entire team is fabulous, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely caring from start to finish. I always feel looked after here. I can honestly say I’ll never go anywhere else. Outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I have visited several local dentists and hygienists in recent years. However, none have been as friendly, kind and considerate as Ina at Chequers Hall, MyDentist in Ely. Ina Serpetyte gives exceptional care to teeth and gums. She is clearly passionate about her role and the wellbeing of patients under her care. I am sorry I went elsewhere, glad to have returned. In a time where things are financially tight, it's not easy to get people to the dentist. A visit here and it feels worthwhile.

Have been seeing Ina, the Hygienist, for a few years now and have always found her and all the other staff members to be friendly, professional and courteous. I receive text reminders leading up to the appointment which is also very helpful. Overall, I have had no issues with the dental practice and expect to continue with them. Happy New Year to them all 🙂

Would be helpful if opening times were printed or shared on appointment reminders. I had to wait in the cold as I hadn’t realised my appointment was the first of the day and I was early. Great treatment once in the building, very friendly and professional

Love this dental practice, the ladies at reception are so, so friendly & nice. They always go above & beyond. My dentist Claudia is amazing, I have a fear of dentists & she puts me at ease & manages not to leave me traumatized!
