I moved to Carpinteria Smiles after years with my previous dentist in Goleta. The drive was the determining factor, then. Since then, I have come to appreciate my new dental office. The staff is friendly and helpful. The office is clean and professional. But still has that personal touch. Dr. Attar is very nice and kind. Above all, she is highly skilled. I had quite a bit of problems that needed to be addressed. Dr. Attar explains the situation and the solutions. All the while listening and addressing my concerns. She doesn't just tell you the problems. She makes it a point to show you in photos what the problems are and how bad it is. She and her staff do their best to accommodate your schedule, which is always appreciated. I wish I had made the switch years ago. I believe that I would have saved myself from so many dental problems. And, of course all that 101 traffic!

Dr. Kimia (Attar) is professional, kind, caring. Dr.Kimia just performed my very first deep cleaning on one side of my mouth and as much as I don’t like anything done in my mouth because it gives me chills and anxiety throughout my whole body, she talked me through the process to make sure nothing hurt. I have to go back to get the other 1/2 done. She in my opinion is outstanding as so is the whole staff! I feel so grateful to have found someone as wonderful as her!

Hello! I am in the middle of a pretty extensive treatment plan and so far, so good. Dr. Kimia Attar is talented, gentle, and spent a good bit of time explaining the plan. Fingers crossed that the rest of treatment will be as smooth and painless as the beginning. And, the reception and dental staff are lovely. While you are waiting they have a live feed from China of Mama Panda and her cubs frolicking about. So cool!

While camping at Carpinteria State Beach I ended up having severe tooth pain. I am not local and did not know which Dentist office to call. My daughter who lives in SB suggested I call her dentist (Montecito Dentistry). The referred my to Carpinteria Smiles. Carpinteria Smiles were able to get me a same day emergency appointment. It was determined I needed a root canal and was then referred to Ventura Endodontist. The office manager, front desk and Dr Attar could not have been more helpful! It has been 7 days since my initial visit and I even received a follow up call confirming that my local dentist got all the results from my root canal & dental visit with Dr. Attar. I was very pleased with Carpinteria Smiles & would recommend this office to anyone needing dental care!
