Perfect Smile

I was made to feel at ease, I was informed at every step of the procedure what was going to happen. The dentist made me feel like she cared about me and my experience and not just the pain. Ayushi is an asset to the business and the dentistry world.

I am a very anxious patient when it comes to the thought of the dentist (thanks to a horrendous wisdom tooth extraction in my early 20's). I needed to have a crown done, Liz told me up front how long appointment would take and how long for the drilling/prep work so I knew what to expect when I come to have the first of two appointments. Liz told me what she was doing throughout the treatment. I actually felt at ease with Liz and I couldn't believe how stress free the whole experience was. Going back for the second appointment was easy. Definitely 5 starts for Liz and the perfect smile practice.

Today I received emergency treatment to replace a cracked filling. The dentist, Cristiane Walker and her dental nurse both did a wonderful job with my tooth, and helped to keep me calm. They were able to be efficient and professional whilst still showing kindness and empathy. I really appreciated that.

Fab service yet again!!! Ive been a patient since the crossways practice was above the old bandstand… I was absolutely PETRIFIED of Dentists but Neels was so so kind and patient with ne, as was his wonderful Nurse who used to hold my hand and give me tissues, I was a wreck!! (I believe that Nurse has gone on to become a regional manager, and well deserved!) Over the years I became braver and less ridiculous but would only see Neels (or Will in an emergency) and I was distraught when he retired during Covid. I had an appointment with a different dentist here and was NOT a fan at all unfortunately. As I had moved out of the area in 2013 I decided it was probably time to change my Dentist. However an issue popped up before I had chance to register elsewhere so I booked with a ‘new dentist called Liz’. I am SO GLAD I DID!!!! She is amazing! Kind, patient, friendly, thorough and efficient. I didnt think anyone could match the trust I had in Neels, but Liz is every bit as good! Her wonderful Nurse Binita is equally wonderful but luckily for her Im no longer scared, I dont cry and I dont need her to hold my hand! The ladies work excellently alongside each other and its almost a pleasure to attend appointments these days. I also MUST give praise to Holly on the reception desk - shes a fab little star and so helpful! The rudeness and abuse she received on the phone just during my short visit today was disgusting! She was working alone whilst her colleague was at lunch and she remained so calm and professional in situations where i would have ended the calls. Holly definitely deserves a payrise please and a 2hour break to go to the pub!! I am genuinely so thankful to be a patient here, thank you to all of you who work so hard to keep us happy.

Wanted a filling done. I was told I needed a check up first. I was made to feel I was under strict guidelines. Either do as requested or suffer the consequences. I was offered an emergency treatment if I didn't do a check up first. Which still isn't patient friendly. Receptionist was very condescending. 1 star because of their receptionist and rules.

My first treatment with Shelly and Gillian today was a complete success. Confident but sensitive approach through a combination of customer reassurance and professional skill. Looking forward to a long service relationship.
