Gooch Family Dental

I absolutely LOVE coming to Gooch Family Dental! My husband and I drive down from the Gardendale area just to come here. It is a beautiful office with wonderful staff! From the ladies at the front desk, to the hygienists and doctors and everyone in between! Dr. Duncan is the greatest, so kind and gentle. I want to give a huge shoutout Chasity, she is my girl and we always have a great time at my appointments! She takes care of us so well! Also to Mrs. Penelope who is the absolute sweetest ever! All the little touches and care are what make Gooch the best.

I had the best experience today at this office. They were able to get me in the same day and complete my treatment during the appointment, which I really appreciated. Dr. Duncan did an excellent job. He was professional, gentle, and very informative. His assistant Liz was wonderful and helped make the whole process easy. I also want to recognize Sam and Sara for being so kind and helpful during my visit. Everyone I interacted with provided great service from start to finish. I truly appreciate the entire team and how quickly and professionally everything was handled. Highly recommend.

Best experience I have ever had in a dental office! Several procedures done at one time, Maddie, my hygienist, made me feel comfortable, she was very friendly, and was so gentle during my teeth cleaning. Kylie assisted with removing my retainer and scanning my teeth for retainers. She was also cognizant of making sure I was comfortable at all times. So kind as well. Dr. Lanford was also wonderful and described every step I was to take today. She was very professional. Sara Hill was so good to keep me informed of the financials and worked with me for the best plan. She was so kind and friendly as well. Love Gooch Family Dental!! I will recommend to everyone! Will see you for each of my appointments in the future!!

Every experience so far that I have had at Gooch Family Dental has restored my confidence in dental work. Dr. Lanford and Duncan have been compassionate, honest, and skilled in their recommendations. Assistants have been wonderful as well. Maddie and Katie have been wonderful and others whose names unfortunately escape me at the time of writing this. I strongly recommend this practice for all of your dental needs. The front desk staff is also very responsive when appointments needs to be rescheduled or moved around. I have never had trouble getting in to see someone when having immediate needs. Probably the best dentist experience I have had.

I came to my first visit at Gooch Family Dental. Dr. Duncan and my hygienist Chasity were great. Chasity walked me through how to properly clean my teeth with recommended products. McKenna (Dr. Duncan’s assistant) and Sam (Financial Coordinator) were super nice to me! Let me not forget Weslie, she greeted me with kindness at the front. Overall the team is amazing! I came in for an emergency visit due to a broken tooth and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gooch Family Dental. From the moment I arrived, Abby at the front desk was kind and welcoming. Kylie Rae, the dental assistant, was so gentle and reassuring, and Dr. Wood was amazing—thorough, compassionate, and calming. Dental emergencies can be stressful, but the entire team truly helped ease my anxiety and made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received and highly recommend this office.

I had another amazing experience today at Gooch Family Dental! Maddie was my hygienist, and she was wonderful. She was extremely thorough with each step of the cleaning process. I appreciated that she took the time to answer each of my questions. Dr. Duncan was incredible as well. He was very friendly and personable during the time that I spent talking to him. The folks at Gooch Family Dental have taken very good care of me and my family each time we visit! In fact, I am already looking for to my next appointment!

I came in for dental work and was naturally a bit nervous, but McKenna immediately put me at ease. Her professionalism, warm personality, and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I want to recognize her with a well-deserved five stars. Team members like McKenna uphold the integrity of a business simply by being who they are. Thank you, McKenna — you were amazing, and the care I received from Dr. Duncan was excellent as well as he kept me informed through every step.
