Kindness, quality and integrity. At a dental office? Unheard of, right? Not if you are a patient of Dr Carter at Montezuma Family Dental! Not only that the work he does is impeccable, Dr Carter’s gentle dental care is focused on helping you, not ripping you off! And here is a true miracle for the whole dental industry, as far as I’m concerned, that happened the last time I was there. At checkout Dr Carter’s office told me that they noticed that back in 2023 I overpaid by a certain amount (about which I had no idea!) and that now I could either have an office credit or a refund check! Wake me up, am I dreaming? I still can barely believe this! Feeling so lucky that I found Dr Carter and Montezuma Family Dental! As long as they are in business I’ll never go to another dental office ever again!

Excellent experience. I worked with a superb hygienist that completed a double deep cleaning + regular cleaning on top half with expert precision, barely-noticeable shots in the gums, friendly, caring, gentle. The doctor is professional & warm. Great staff all around!

Went in for two teeth to be extracted. Great experience and painless. Very friendly staff, Dr. Carter took the time to explain the entire procedure during initial exam. Then after the procedure he once again took the time answer any questions I might have and went over the instructions as to how to care for the mouth during the healing process..........I was impressed with the professionalism a nd care given to me from start to finish.....

Amazing dentist office! My husband and I went about a month ago for some cleanings and the staff was very helpful in getting us scheduled and even called us with schedule cancellations to try and help us get in sooner! The hygienist, Kathy, was super nice and did a great job. Dr Carter was the BEST dentist we’ve ever been to. My husband is not so great with needles and Dr. Carter did a great job with his fillings and made the whole process very painless. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area!

I don't like giving bad reviews. With that being said the staff and dentist are great people , but I got a set of partials that were never right with the dentist commenting several times that he didn't understand how it happened, yet he ground down the front teeth shorter than the rest of the teeth still saying I don't know how this happened, gave them to me and said try this . Went back several times about the bottom set hurting , he did have another bottom set made but they hurt worse than the first,went back a couple times with those for adjustments and got aggravated. Current situation the top set broke I think they were weakened over time for all the grinding down that he did on them but im no dentist. I'm not trying to cause him loss of business just make sure you are 100% satisfied . I honestly feel he should have never tried to make the first set work he should have had them remade

Dr. Kyle Carter, Ashley & Nikki are all so amazing! We travel full time and stayed in the Cottonwood area for the winter and were due for checkups/cleanings for our family. We found Montezuma Family Dental online and made an appointment based on the reviews. My oldest son has had a lot of issues with cavities and had to have some more fillings while there. He said of the 3 dentists we have been to, they were the best! My youngest is 2 and this was her first dentist visit. Nikki made her feel so comfortable. And I can’t say enough good things about Ashley. She was amazing from our first phone call to making additional appointments and helping me with our dental savings plan that I had never used. We highly recommend Montezuma Family Dental and definitely plan to return when we are back in the area!

Dr. Carter is the first dentist my parents have seen in their whole life and it was an amazing experience for them. Not only was he understanding but his personality shows he really cares about his patients. He answered all their questions and helped restore both my mom & dad's smile. Honestly, if I could give more stars, I would! Keep being amazing doctor, couldn't have achieved it without you!!!

I had some issues In June due to a schedule conflict which resulted in cancelling every appointment by voicemail. The receptionist actually said I never left any messages to cancel. Doctor Carter is amazing.. I wish I could continue to see him for dental, unfortunately the receptionist did not believe me when I told her that medical transportation has no drivers. She informed me I'll never be scheduled again. Do not go here. They are distrusting and will lie to your insurance if you submit a grievance.
