Truthfully. His Bedside manner is off. He watched television when he was doing my sons dental fillings. As for myself personally, it was a nightmare. Thankfully, I was able to find a dentist who could fix my problems and take care of me. I am now free from all dental issues and dental pain from a different provider. This dentist could not help me with simple dental procedures, and the work that he did do, he put me in a place where I was in a lot of pain, sick, and uncomfortable and afraid to return to any other dentist to finish what he could not do. Not to mention that during my recovery, just a few days after a surgical extraction that he performed, he decided to go on vacation and leave me with no one to attend to me in case of an emergency. I ended up with a dry socket along with an infection. I had to seek out expensive emergency treatments, which was an expensive additional cost to me. However, I am glad that I looked elsewhere because the problem was not me.! He did, however refund me for the bridge that he made that did not fit, but I still had to pay for the horrific work that he did to my mouth. I wanted to leave an honest review. If you are looking for a dentist, I do not recommend this one. Not only was he completely unprofessional to myself, but to my son as well. If more people left, honest reviews, I would not have chosen this Dentist. Considering our experience there, we are certain that we are not the only ones left tainted by this office. Jessica D

Dr. Paape and his staff do amazing work. His cosmetic dentistry is extraordinary, and his genuine concern for his patients is very apparent. I have a special needs child and the staff and Dr Paape are all so kind and interact with her in such a way that she has no qualms about going to see the Dentist. I wouldn’t even consider taking her anywhere else. I can’t say enough good things about the top-notch, quality dental care that my entire family receives from Northstar Dental.

Best experience ever! My daughter and I went yesterday 12/5/17 and everyone is so genuine and kind. From making the appointment to check out was 100% amazing. I was so impressed. Old fashioned hospitality and it was just so rare but real. Thank you so much and we will back for sure! I will never go anywhere else again. You all made us feel important and special and really know your stuff. Very good communication through the whole process!

I got an appointment the same week. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They listened to my needs and preferences. I let them know I was looking for a conservative dentist and I trust that Dr Paape gave me honest feedback about my teeth. They were non-judgmental and I felt no pressure. I will be going back in 6 months for sure.

The hygienist Lori did an awesome job making my timid 3 year old daughter feel comfortable for her cleaning. Dr. Paape is great with kids! Our family has been coming to Northstar Dental for seven years and we would highly recommend this dentist office!

Dr Paape and his team have taken care of my dental needs for several years now. They are wonderful, personable and provide excellent care. He is the best dentist I’ve ever had, and he truly puts that extra effort in. He loves what he does, and cares about his patients. As does his team. So important.

Dr. Paape was awesome and professional. He squeezed me in last minute when my tooth had an issue come up. The office and the staff were clean and made me feel safe during this pandemic.
