Advantage Dental+

So frustrating! Confirmed through text about both my daughters appointments, upon arrival, was informed that they canceled both appointments because they require 2 confirmations, one text, and one verbal. This is ridiculous. No matter how good they are, this practice is an inconvenience for any working parent. If we make an appointment, and confirm via a text and fill out the forms sent. That's good enough. You wasted our time and that's not good for business!

Confirmed our appointment multiple times, completed the paper work and even was sent reminders. Arrived to our appointment stating we would “be worked in” due to me not answering a call on Friday (it’s policy), but I did call back and left a message and the voicemail was never checked or answered. When I did arrive they had an old number of mine on file. Had I not spoken to someone, one of my children wouldn’t have been placed in another child’s time slot. Second time we’ve been there (we’re not seen because we will not be back), but both times I’ve dealt with this place, it’s a disaster. We will not be back.

If I could do zero stars I would. Brought my son in for his appt at 12:30 they said to arrive at 12. I get there at 11:45 they proceeded to tell me they close for lunch from 12-1 ok so why make an appt at 12:30. The lady said I needed to wait outside because they lock the doors. We finally get called back my son is 3 the lady who brought him back was rude. I’m trying to make light of the situation for the fact he’s getting X-rays and I can’t be beside him. I’m making faces and telling him good job she gives me a snobby attitude. The dentist finally comes in at first he seems nice. Then in a matter of seconds is rude. My son had some cavities which I expected. He’s telling the nurse which teeth there on and she’s like wow. Right in front of my 3 year old. He takes off his mask and tells me I created this fire and I can’t contain it now so I’m going to him. First of all I was listening to him and asking where I could do better. He said the place my son was referred to in Birmingham didn’t do their job right. Ok why send him to someone who don’t know what their doing. He was rude, disrespectful and made me question myself as a parent. I walked out in tears and my husband ended up calling the office.

Thank you so much! My kids were asking me if they could go back everyday. Y'all are truly amazing;

The dentist was pretty nice himself and communicated well with my 4 year old for him to be so nervous. I can tell the dental assistant gets aggravated with scared/nervous kids so I didn’t like that. And be prepared to wait awhile! Appointment was at 8am arrived at 7:50, didn’t get called back til 9:30.

As Kelseys gardian, I was nervous about her having to go in the back without me, and didn't think she would even do it. She has done nothing but talk great about her experience there. Thank you all! It was a relief to know she was well taken care of.

My son is very limited on where he can go for dental care and they changed the policy to where I can no longer go back with my son. My son was on a waiting list to get his cavity filled in and finally got a call that he could be seen today and his blood pressure was too high. Now he has to be put back on the waiting list to be seen. Its very frustrating, because office staff didnt seem to care or put his name back on the waiting list. I got the impression that they do not wanna see my son because of the insurance he is on, which is totally out of my control.

Took my daughter for her first time ever visit.. she went in a little scared and by the time we had only taken her weight and X-rays she said “mommy I love my new doctors”! Thank you Dr Williams and his D.A. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but I know her face! 10000/10 recommendations!!
