Valley Smiles Dental Care

This was my first visit to Valley Smiles. I have anxiety with the mention of a dentist. Dr Baker and his staff made me feel welcome and at ease throughout the visit. My visit was a morning visit, I went back in the afternoon for cleaning, because someone had cancelled. Dr Baker was very detailed in explaining what I needed and very kind and caring. Then in the afternoon, Amanda was great. She was gentle and caring, making sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. I would highly recommend Valley Smiles to anyone who has dental anxiety.😊

After a terrible experience with Aspen Dental, I decided to try a local office — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, Valley Smiles made me feel completely welcome. The entire team was friendly, caring, and made me feel like family. They took the time to explain everything clearly, helping me truly understand my dental health instead of just rushing me through. The deep cleaning was phenomenal, and I could tell they genuinely care about their patients’ comfort and long-term oral health. I’m so thankful to have finally found a dental office I can trust and actually look forward to visiting. Highly recommend Valley Smiles! 💙

I absolutely LOVE the staff! And Dr. Baker. However, you answering service is hurting you. You're not getting your messages. You paying for a service that's hindering your business. Ask the girls, they helplessly listened to my rant, because THEY can't help me if THEY aren't getting any of my messages. If I didn't love THEM so much I'd walk away and tell everyone that I know.... Righteous anger, with a little emotion because I love Valley Smiles. And the people making these decisions need to know that this is going on. Okay, I'm done

Very disappointed. I’ve been a patient since 2014, but service has gone downhill—possibly since Dr. Coleman’s retirement. They appear to double-book appointments, yet I couldn’t be seen during an actual emergency and had to find another dentist who could take me. I also had a scheduled cleaning today at 8:00 a.m. and was told I had opted out of text reminders, which is not true—I checked my message history. They also claimed they called and my voicemail was full; it was not. To make matters worse, someone who had a 1:00 p.m. appointment was worked in early, while my appointment was canceled. This experience confirmed my decision to leave and switch to Athens Dental Services. Additionally, the receptionist could benefit from better customer service skills.

Dr. Baker is the best dentist! I have a hard time going to the dentist have trouble swallowing due to medication he's very accommodating and gentle. Best I've ever had.I totally recommended him.😁

I am a heavy teeth grinder and have had a night guard since 2017 after experiencing a flare up of my TMJ. As i have aged, my teeth have shifted, and even with my nightguard, the grinding has gotten so bad that it had started chipping off some of the enamel toward the gum line on my front two teeth and a few others as well. With the loss of enamel I was experiencing some staining and sensitivity to cold air and foods as well. I came in on 9/11/2025 and they gave me a fill in on my front teeth and one other on my top row. Dr. Baker walked me through the process step-by-step, and even showed me the tools he was using during my procedure. The color match was perfect! The process was painless. I am actually excited to smile again! He and his staff were very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative throughout my entire visit. I am so glad I found them! You can't go wrong with choosing Valley Smiles for all your dental needs. I am one satisfied customer!!

Best dental clinic there is! I had to break up with the one close to me cause to come back to this dentist. They have the sweetest staff! Lauren was my hygienist today and she was amazing. 10/10

Such a great place sand everyone is so nice! Dr Sam Deatherage is the best and was totally worth the drive! He went above and beyond for me ❤️. I highly recommend and was so happy with my visit
